Scania LB81 – original Dutch car
We are pleased to offer a classic truck for sale this time instead of a classic car! On behalf of our customer we offer this Scania LB81 from 1976 for sale. In its time, this type of Scania was mainly used for domestic transport and received many good reviews in terms of user-friendliness. The engine is a 6-cylinder engine with 205 Bhp. The gearbox has 10 gears with high and low gearing. The car is equipped with leaf springs all around. 2 new batteries have been installed and a new set of mud flaps and 2 replacement handles for the 2 seats are supplied separately. The car is free of the Dutch road tax because it is older than 40 years, when used as a hobby truck.
It was restored with great passion 4 years ago, partly by the previous owner and partly by Onderwater Truck Restoration. Because the truck was hardly driven, it was traded in by the owner at Korenblik Trucks in Zutphen, where the current owner bought it. Currently this Scania is still in good condition. For example, the car is very suitable for a camper conversion. If you are a bit handy or have the money to do this (or have it done), you will get a really special camper that will guarantee much attention and admiration when you drive onto the campsite! This type is not often offered for sale and is therefore a nice opportunity for an enthusiast to become owner of one.
