Mercedes 450 SL

The Mercedes-Benz 450 SL, introduced in 1972, is an iconic model of the R107 series, a series produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1971 to 1989. This series was a successor to the W113 (Pagoda). The 450 SL was designed as a luxurious roadster with a removable hardtop and a soft-top, giving drivers the best of both worlds: an enclosed coupe and an open convertible. The 450 SL was powered by a 4.5-liter V8 engine, which was known for its powerful performance and smooth driving experience. The engine was mated to an automatic transmission, which contributed to the comfortable and effortless handling expected of a luxury roadster. This V8 engine was capable of giving the car good acceleration and a respectable top speed for the time. At the time, the 450SL W107 was featured in the soap series β€œDallas ” in which it was driven by actor Patrick Duffy in the role of Bobby Ewing. Due to the enormous popularity of this series, the sales figures of this model increased significantly.

The Mercedes that we can offer you here is in particularly beautiful condition, purchased by the current owner from America, the car was offered to the craftsmen of Stipt Polish Point with the task of making it β€œfactory new” again. We may safely say that the photo report on our website says enough about the overall condition of the car and that Stipt succeeded in this task. From top to bottom and inside to outside the car breaths originallity.

After this thorough restoration, the car was not driven much and because of this it still looks like a winner!
