BMW 228i cabriolet manual
Summer is the best time to enjoy a convertible is often said. However, this is not true if you choose the BMW 2 series convertible. What an incredibly useful and practical car this is. Practical because of the 2+2 design which means that there is always enough room for four people or extra luggage, but also because of the trunk space which is still ample even with the hood open. The fabric convertible top (finished in a kind of jeans-like color! ) is perfectly closed and comfortable even at lower temperatures, and in summer the automatic air conditioning ensures that the climate in the car remains pleasant. With the windshield set up, you hardly notice the wind at all.
This 228i features the two-liter engine that squeezes out a whopping 242 horsepower, and is mated to a manual transmission. We still think that’s the best choice for such a sporty car, and it emphasizes the real feeling of driving much more than with the automatic. The M-sport package and M suspension and brakes also make this BMW a real attention grabber. The color combination is totally contemporary, mineral grau with brown leather interior and it looks great on the Beamer. It is equipped with very many options that all contribute to the driving experience.
The 228 was delivered new in 2015 in Germany, where we bought it privately as a home selection at an official dealer in 2018 and imported it ourselves in the Netherlands. The odometer was at 25000 km at the time and is still quite low now at 62000 km. We have always maintained it perfectly and the car has always been stored inside. For us it is time for another BMW, but we are sure that the next owner will enjoy this car as much as we have done the past six years.
Viewing please by appointment as this car is not in the showroom, and due to use the mileage may increase a bit.
